1. Introduction
This document outlines the terms and conditions governing the provision of Digital Footprint Reports by Repuserve. By engaging our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms.
2. Consent & Authorisation
You confirm that you are either the data subject (the individual whose information is being assessed) or have explicit written consent from the data subject to request this report on their behalf.
You authorise Repuserve to collect, assess, and compile online information relating to your digital footprint, which may include publicly available content, search engine results, and other relevant data sources.
3. Scope of Service
The Digital Footprint Report provides a detailed assessment of your online presence, including references, links, and publicly accessible data associated with your name.
- Our service is informational only. It does not automatically include the removal of any online content.
- Content removal services are separate and subject to an additional agreement.
- Data collection may involve third-party tools and services. While Repuserve ensures compliance with data protection laws, we do not control external platform policies.
4. Accuracy & Limitations
While we make reasonable efforts to ensure the report is comprehensive, certain limitations apply, including but not limited to:
- Restrictions on private or paywalled data (e.g., social media privacy settings).
- Changes in third-party platform policies.
- Technical limitations affecting data retrieval.
We cannot guarantee that all references to your name or related information will be included in the report.
5. Client Responsibilities
You must provide accurate and complete information required for compiling the report, including but not limited to:
- Full name
- Any known aliases or variations of your name
- Date of birth (if applicable)
- Professional or employment history (if relevant)
Any failure to disclose relevant information may result in an incomplete or inaccurate report.
6. Confidentiality & Data Protection
Repuserve is committed to protecting your data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Your personal data will be used solely for the purposes of generating the Digital Footprint Report and will not be shared with third parties except where necessary for fulfilling the service.
You may request data deletion at any time by contacting our Data Protection Officer at support@repuserve.co.uk. However, such requests may impact our ability to deliver the service effectively.
7. Legal Disclosures & Obligations
- By agreeing to these terms, you confirm that:
- You will disclose any unspent criminal convictions as legally required.
- You will not use the Digital Footprint Report for unlawful purposes.
- You understand that Repuserve does not provide legal advice and any legal concerns should be addressed with a qualified solicitor.
8. Fees & Payment
- The fee for the Digital Footprint Report is agreed upon before the service is initiated and is non-refundable once the process has begun.
- Any additional services, including but not limited to content removal, legal consultations, or PR management, will be subject to separate terms and pricing.
9. Intellectual Property & Non-Disclosure
- The Digital Footprint Report is the property of Repuserve Ltd and is provided exclusively for the client’s personal use.
- You agree not to share, reproduce, or distribute the report or any related documentation without prior written consent from Repuserve.
- Any disclosure of Repuserve’s proprietary methods, strategies, or processes to third parties constitutes a breach of this agreement.
10. Limitation of Liability
- Repuserve will not be liable for any consequential, indirect, or incidental damages arising from the use of the Digital Footprint Report.
- While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all online references to you will be detected or removed.
- We are not responsible for third-party data inaccuracies, changes in search engine algorithms, or legal constraints affecting content removal.
11. Amendments & Updates
Repuserve reserves the right to update these terms as necessary. You will be notified of any material changes, and continued use of our service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This agreement is governed by UK law, and any disputes arising from it will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
